Cutie Coconut Macaroons

Ingredients

Prep

  1. Preheat the oven to 180C

  2. Using a spatula mix the egg whites, sugar, and coconut in a bowl until they lightly come together

  3. Press the mixture into a flat, square shape on a cutting board or similar apparatus

  4. Use a small glass to cut out little circles (or like me use a heart shaped cookie cutter to make it cute) then place on a lightly oiled or nonstick baking tray

  5. Bake for 12 minutes in the centre of the oven until lightly golden

  6. Cool on a wire rack, and store in an airtight tin

*You could also melt some nice Hope and Greenwood or Green & Blacks dark chocolate in a bain marie to drizzle or dip your macaroons in OR you could just eat the whole bar of chocolate and call it a day

It's your call, but I am sure you can guess by my photo what happened to my bar of chocolate...

PPS-thank you bbc food for this basic recipe
