"Things are only impossible until they are not." - Jean-Luc Picard

day two

spent some time on the computer trying to organise food delivery

not happening
everything was booked out a week in advance

looked on uber delivery
only the most basic junk food available

decided i would take my chances and make a trip to the grocery
made the 20 minute walk and overfilled my basket with anything i thought useful
managed to avoid chocolate
and only added one pack of biscuits

was relived to see everyone but the store clerk had on a mask
so weird
you think you would want to protect yourself
but...nevermind. whatever

made it back, unpacked everything
decided i should have a nap

took a shower and then squiggled around in the bed for ages
gave up on the idea of a nap and decided to watch tv instead
by about 11pm there was nothing on
so went back to reading swing time by zadie smith
a book i like
but need to be present for

fiddled about between reading, instagram, and facebook until about 6am
then finally went to sleep
